Tax Gap Widens

If HMRC collected the £42bn wouldn’t the public finances be in order and the Government spending cuts could be postponed?
If only that were true. These numbers from HMRC are not real numbers in that they would only be real if every single HMRC assumption and estimate was 100% right and that has never ever been the case. £42bn uncollected is dreamland and was calculated by the fairies!
